He promised attacking football, so far so good
He said before the season after our fans wanting it, and it's proving right so far, I think each week were getting stronger and stronger. 10 goals this season already, happy days. It's a new team for me all the players grafting for the team and players shooting from outside the box and taking players on. What's everyone tbink of aladyce now? More time ?

If a manager is even halfway good, then they play to the strengths of the players that they have.

Re: He promised attacking football, so far so good
I think a lot of fans on here can claim a victory. Even some views I didn't agree with on here seem to have good evidence for them this week.

2 up front? - working wonders (though I think you could say it was a strikerless formation today, with the forwards covering the flanks without the ball).

Noble struggling as a DM? - played further forward today and looked much better imo.

Need a proper DM? - Song!

Wingers not working? - 2 encouraging performances without them.

Formation not working? - Midfield diamond in the last two matches has changed our fortunes.

Better without Nolan/Cole? - totally it seems.

Long ball game not working/unattractive? - complete transformation when trying to play ball to feet.

Being positive/playing on the front foot? - blew Liverpool away today in the 1st half.

Obviously just 2 results and 4 points, but a lot of evidence of the arguments being made on here for months/years being pretty much correct.

It's the commitment that impresses me. Kouyate
, again was magnificent, getting up twice to battle on but add in Noble running into the ground, Valencia being a cunt to their defence, Sakho having skill beyond his second tier ability and cresswell running the line.

This team will ground so many teams down it's amazing to see, time to say good job Sam, keep it up.
